"We kind of shot ourselves in the foot in the first half," said coach Randy Edsall. "All the fumbles and some missed interceptions, but we showed a lot of pride and we did what we had to do."
The second half was a different story. Redshirt freshman Robbie Frey set the tone on special teams by making a sensational play on punt coverage and downing the ball at Buffalo's 1-yard-line with 11:04 in the third quarter. After fumbling the ball five times in the first half, the Huskies did not commit a single turnover in the second.

On Saturday, December 28, the Colgate's women's basketball team traveled to New York City to kick off the Fordham University Holiday Classic with a battle against the Bryant Bulldogs. Unfortunately, the Raiders did not advance to the finals of the four-team tournament, falling to the Bulldogs by a 71-59 margin.

The Colgate men's hockey team returned to its winning ways of October while participating in the Florida College Classic in Estero last weekend. Besides Colgate, the two-day tournament featured archrival No. 9/10 Cornell University, St. Cloud State and the University of Maine.
